Ear - pay attention; hear what is really happening.

Earth - Mother Earth which could signify your real mother; your unconscious; your true self (spiritual); your intuitive self; contrasted with the sky, it may symbolize keeping your feet firmly planted on the ground.

Earthquake - falling apart; conflict with your mother (is your mother in the dream?); a sudden change in your daily life (something is upsetting your life).

Elephant - your wise self; if knowledgable of Hindu-Buddhist mythology, may represent some type of power available to you which can be positive or negative if elephant is angry.

Seeing an elephant in your dream, suggests that you either need to be more patient and understanding of others. The elephant is also a symbol of power, strength, and intellect. Alternatively, as a creature with an introverted nature, the elephant may thus be depicting your own personality. Dreaming that you are riding an elephant indicates that you are in control of your unconscious and aspects that you once were afraid of.

Elevator - the direction in which you are going; up or down; moving up is higher perception, moving down could be exploring deep rooted problems.

Energy - anything of energy can signify psychic energy, or creative energy; get in touch with this energy, it is your true self.

Engagement - a commitment to something.

Engine - your conscious ego; emotions; the heart, that which makes your body go.

Equation - What is your life adding up to? Is it what you really wish it to be?

Escape - liberation from something in your life; or the opposite, running away from your problems instead of facing them.

Evening - symbolizes your mid-life or old age; peacefulness.

Evil - ignorance, lack of awareness; something about yourself that can be destructive.

Dreaming that someone or something is evil indicates a repressed and/or forbidden aspect of yourself. This part of yourself may be seeking recognition and acknowledgment. Alternatively, evil may also be a reflection of your strong, negative emotions like hate, anger, etc.

Excrement - May represent something you need to get rid of. Something you disapprove of. May represent money -'filthy lucre'.
